Techtronic Industries Co. announced the appointment of Steve Richman as chief executive officer. Richman has served as the president of Milwaukee Tool for the past 17 years, leading it to double-digit annual revenue growth and a workforce of over 21,000 worldwide.
The promotion follows the retirement of Joe Galli, Jr. as chief executive officer for Techtronic Industries Co. Galli spent the last 18 years in the role and played a critical role in the company's rise as a key figure in the tool industry.
With the role of president of Milwaukee Tool vacant, Richman's previous responsibilities were distributed to other members of Techtronic's executive management team after he was appointed CEO. "We are confident that under his leadership at TTI, our company will continue to innovate and thrive," the company said.
