Auto Care Association opens nominations for Women in Auto Care Awards

The deadline for nominations for the six award categories is July 12, 2024.

The Auto Care Association announced that nominations are now open for this year's Women in Auto Care Awards. The awards, run by the Women in Auto Care community, are given to eight women and one company for their contributions to the auto care industry. The categories include:

  • "Women of Excellence" recognizes a group of women who are considered rising stars in the auto care industry and demonstrate "role model behaviors, leadership, and commitment to the advancement of women."
  • "Company Ally of the Year" is awarded to a company that shows significant support for women internally and externally.
  • The "Outstanding Leadership Award," previously known as "Woman of the Year," recognizes a woman making remarkable contributions to the industry and exhibiting commitment to the advancement of women, including active mentoring and leadership.
  • "Female Shop Owner of the Year" is presented to a female owner who demonstrates role model behavior, leadership, and commitment to the advancement of women.
  • The "Lifetime Achievement Award" is awarded to a woman whose outstanding contributions to the industry throughout their career have left a legacy behind them.
  • "Champion of the Year" is presented to a Women in Auto Care Champion who's gone the extra mile for the Women in Auto Care community and has volunteered time and energy to engage and uplift that community.

The awards are judged by a panel of industry volunteers and prior winners. Nominations must be entered by July 12, 2024. The requirements for nominees and the nomination form can be found at the Women in Auto Care Awards site.
