Streamlight expands Wedge EDC flashlight line

July 16, 2024
The low-profile light originally only came in black and coyote colors.

Streamlight announced the introduction of three new color options for its Wedge line of everyday carry flashlights. The pocket-sized lights were previously only available in black and coyote but are now available in red, blue, and purple as well.

“These new colors were developed for those who want to tell their personal lights apart from others on their team or who just wish to express their personal style,” said Streamlight Chief Revenue Officer Michael F. Dineen. “Whatever the color, the Wedge provides extreme brightness and high-performance features that law enforcement, automotive, contractors, and other professionals have come to expect from Streamlight.”

The newer models retain the same features as the previous Wedges, including USB-C recharging, two modes (a 300 lm "constant on" mode with a 3-hour runtime and a 1,000 lm Temporarily Heightened Regulated Output mode that creates a 35-second burst of light in a 110-meter beam), and a rotating thumb switch. They also share the same IPX7 rating for waterproof use up to one meter and 3.3 oz carrying weight.
