The Automotive Aftermarket Charitable Foundation (AACF) announced the retirement of trustee and Recipient Review Committee Chairman Chuck McCourt after more than 50 years in the industry and with the AACF. McCourt is perhaps best known in the industry as the president of McCourt Marketing Group.

“We are deeply grateful to Chuck for his time and support, particularly his tireless dedication to leading the Recipient Review Committee and his many years of sponsorship at our annual charity golf tournament," said Jon Owens, president of AACF. "His legacy of commitment and service will continue to inspire us all.”

McCourt will be succeeded as chairman by David Young, vice president and general manager of North America DIFM of Valvoline Global Operations. Marc Blackman, CEO of Gold Eagle Co., will be added to the Executive Committee to replace the loss of McCourt's experience.

"We thank David and Marc for stepping up, and we are confident that their leadership will carry on the tradition of excellence Chuck established," added AACF Executive Director John Kairys.
