GEARWRENCH announced the launch of three new diagnostic tools aimed at new technicians and users concerned about cost efficiency: the GWSCAN, the GWSMARTBT, and the GWSMART07.
The GWSCAN is intended to be an everyday diagnostic device capable of performing complete system diagnostics, full OBDII tests, and continuous vehicle monitoring. The GWSMARTBT is a bidirectional diagnostic tool that offers full bidirectional control including a live actuation test, 23 vehicle reset/relearn functions including throttle matching and TPMS resets, and live data mapping with freeze frame capturing. The GWSMART07 is a bidirectional diagnostic tablet with full bidirectional control, topology mapping for visually presenting coms of a vehicle's systems, and 38 vehicle reset/relearn functions including throttle matching, ABS bleeding, and TPMS resets.
"Voice of the customer research was crucial in revealing that current diagnostic tools are seen as overly costly, burdened with recurring fees, and lacking sufficient support, especially in terms of warranty coverage," Senior Product Manager Jarrett Wolf said. "We challenged ourselves to make diagnostic tools accessible to every automotive technician."
All three of the new products cover more than 80 vehicle manufacturers and include a complete two-year warranty and free software updates.
