Hunter Engineering announces online ADAS Learning Tool
Hunter Engineering announced its new online tool for ADAS education, the ADAS Learning Tool. The tool is designed for the professionals in the shop, including service writers and counter workers, as well as the customers they work with, and it's free to access and use.
The ADAS Learning Tool offers users easy-to-understand visuals and simple explanations for how ADAS calibrations function and affect vehicles by breaking the concept down into four color-coded categories: camera, radar, ultrasound, and internal. The tool also features a wide range of OEM terminology for ADAS systems.
What people are saying
Hunter Engineering's Director of Marketing Tommy Maitz said, "ADAS has received plenty of attention the past several years, but comparatively little of it deals with talking to actual vehicle owners. This learning tool will help shops have more informative and effective conversations with their customers about which systems are included on their cars, and the need for calibrations.
While shops generally know much more about ADAS than their customers at this point, there’s still some confusion and uncertainty when they talk to them. This tool is a quick and easy way for everyone to understand the concepts and get on the same ADAS page.”
