Coats releases new balancer accessories for light and medium duty trucks
Coats has expanded its accessory line with brand-new wheel balancer tooling kits designed to help technicians achieve more precise balances for light and medium duty truck wheels. These new kits make it easier than ever to center even the toughest wheels, says Coats, reducing setup time and improving accuracy.
The new additions to the accessory line include:
- The LCM Truck Tooling Kit: Works on Coats 40mm balancers for half-ton to medium duty truck wheels. Features an innovative pin plate system featuring multiple pin head types for a range of wheels. The kit includes three collets, a backspacer, a flange plate, and an assortment of pins for secure mounting, ensuring a precise fit across various wheel types.
- 3-pc Pin Plate System: Designed for precision balancing on 4-lug to 8-lug wheels. Features swappable pin heads and allows shops to balance a wide variety of wheels with increased centering accuracy.
Additionally, Coats offers a version of this new kit specifically designed for large 221mm hub bore centers, common in medium-duty trucks and delivery vehicles. This ensures that even larger trucks can be balanced with remarkable precision using existing Coats balancers.
