VISION Hi-Tech Expo Executive Director and Conference Manager Sheri Hamilton, along with Tim Dwyer, ETT VISION Committee, presented the 2025 VISION Educator of the Year Award to Ed Jolly of 4A Farm Repair in Okemah, Oklahoma, on Friday, March 7, at the Educator Think Tank.
Jolly, who was also nominated in 2023, was nominated this year by his wife.
Jolly’s 40-year career features 18 years of instructing, during which he has trained a multitude of students and involved them in community service beyond the shop.
Upon accepting the honor, Jolly said, "I do not like talking about the things I'm passionate about because it comes from the heart. It doesn't sound very humble to say that you're humble.”
The room erupted in laughter at Jolly's remarks.
Hamilton added that honoring automotive instructors is “the Midwest Auto Care Alliance being committed to you, the educator. I want to thank you for being here. I want to thank you for your passion for the industry."
