Wilton announces Apprentice Vise line
Wilton announced its new Apprentice Vise line, engineered to meet the demands of everyday users.
The new vises were developed with direct feedback from end users and feature Wilton's fully enclosed bullet design for long-term durability, optimal clamp forces, and castings that are two times stronger than standard gray cast iron. The Apprentice Vises also offer a precision slide bar for smooth operation, a secure mechanical locking base with 360-degree swivel, a uniform clamping pressure across the jaws, a large integrated anvil work surface, dual lockdowns, and a four-bolt mounting pattern.
The Apprentice Vises are available in three models: the 4" WL1-107 with up to 6,000 lbs of clamp force, the 5-1/2" multi-purpose WL1-111 with up to 8,300 lbs of clamp force, and the 6" WL1-109 with 8,300 lbs of clamp force. The line is ideal for small shop owners, automotive mechanics, and MRO technicians.
