HDA Truck Pride announced the addition of Altorfer CAT. Altorfer CAT has 3 locations servicing the commercial vehicle industry: Cedar Rapids, IA, Springfield, IL and East Peoria, IL. The company services a diverse market from construction and agriculture to trucking and power generation. The addition of Altorfer CAT solidifies HDA Truck Pride's presence in the Central Illinois marketplace.

The company began in 1957 in East Peoria, IL as Altorfer Machinery Company. With the acquisitions of Capitol Machinery Company, Peoria Tractor and Equipment and Altorfer Lift Trucks, the parent company, Altorfer Inc., now operates 22 locations in 15 cities with 720 employees. The On Highway division provides parts and service for CAT engines and their scope also includes complete replacement parts and service for other on highway vehicles ranging from semis to fire trucks to RVs.
