First Transit to continue providing transit services to N.Y. county.
Chemung County, N.Y., has recently agreed to continue its relationship with First Transit, as the county's provider of paratransit, fixed-route and non-emergency medical transportation services. Currently, First Transit operates 32 vehicles and manages 55 employees from this location. The company transports more than 700,000 passengers annually through its transit services.

"With the continued trust the county has in our services and practices, we plan to continue providing riders with safe, efficient and reliable transit services throughout the community. We look forward to more years in the area and building our presence within Chemung County."
