Dayco announces leadership team changes

Nick Orlando, a Dayco Board member, will serve as the new Chief Executive Officer for Dayco.

Dayco, a leading engine products and drive systems supplier for the automotive, industrial and aftermarket industries, announced changes to its executive leadership team.

Dr. Stephan Kessel, Chairman of the Dayco Board of Managers, announced that Nick Orlando, a Dayco Board member, will serve as Chief Executive Officer for Dayco.

“On behalf of the Board of Managers, we are pleased Mr. Orlando has accepted this responsibility and look forward to working with him in his new role,” said Dr. Kessel.

Mr. Orlando was most recently the Chief Executive Officer and President of Martinrea. Prior to Martinrea, he worked at Magna International Inc. and its affiliates for seven years, culminating in his appointment as Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer of Cosma International Inc., a Magna subsidiary and world leader in metal forming technologies.  

After serving as Chief Executive Officer for two years, John Bohenick has decided to pursue other opportunities.

“We acknowledge John’s efforts and thank him for his commitment and dedication to Dayco. On behalf of everyone, we wish him well in his new business endeavors and thank him for his years of service,” said Dr. Kessel.
