The Automotive Training Group announced their new director of Training, Kris Lewis.

Kris Lewis comes with over 40 years in the automotive industry, from turning wrenches to shop manager and foreman. Kris has concentrated and devoted the last 18 years to computer diagnostics, drivability and training, and has worked a technical support hotline, where he handled 15 to 20 ‘Diagnosis-to-Completion’ vehicles per day. All while still working in the bay part time, so he is well aware of what technicians deal with on a daily basis.

His unique way of putting things in laymen’s terms also helped him with another project - being associated with a nationally syndicated call-in Radio Show for the automotive consumer market for over 10 years.

Kris Lewis was born in Brooklyn, NY and lived in Saddle Brook, NJ for 49 years. Recently, he moved to the Jersey Shore.

“I have been with ATG for almost 6 years, and traveling all over the United States and Canada, doing what I love, teaching and helping automotive technicians, understand and diagnose today's cars with all the new technologies," Lewis said. "I can now also teach and help fellow trainers, and all ATG employees, how to make it as much fun for them as it is for me.”
