International Spring Customer Show attracts over 350 attendees for training and purchase opportunities

MEDCO, Ace Tool and GS2 Equipment held the show in Tampa, Florida the weekend of April 7.

The first Spring Show that brought together Philadelphia-based MEDCO, Largo-based Ace Tool and Montreal-based G2S Equipment, attracted over 350 customers and more than 80 of the industry’s tool and equipment vendors.

MEDCO held the International Spring Customer Show in Tampa, Florida the weekend of April 7-8, 2017. It was a weekend filled with purchase opportunities, product exhibition and customer training. The two-day show was held at the Tampa Convention Center.

“The response to the Show far exceeded our expectations in terms of attendance, vendor commitment and overall sales,” said Andrew Keim, President of the combined Automotive Division. He added, “This was only our second combined Spring Show but we knew that expanding the venue to the Convention Center was the right thing to do. In the end, it proved to be a very sound decision.”

In addition to manufacturer deals and purchase incentives, guests had opportunities to connect with each other, with manufacturers and with the organization’s sales leaders throughout the weekend, including at a cocktail reception held on Friday night.

“For me, the opportunity to spend time with our customers, better understand their needs and learn what we can do to become an even more valued supplier is the most important part of the weekend,” commented Andy Procell, VP Sales. “I learn so much every time we can spend this amount of time with customers, outside of the day-to-day of their regular workplace responsibilities.”

MEDCO, Ace Tool and G2S will hold its sixth annual Fall Customer Show in October in Philadelphia.
