Double Coin and CMA, a leading tire manufacturer and marketer, announced the addition of Tim Phillips as Vice President, Marketing and Operations. Tim is a proven industry executive with in-depth knowledge of the manufacturing, wholesale and retail networks.

He has worked for manufacturers, grown sales with distributors and owned a successful tire business himself. His perspective will be an asset as we continue to grow sales and help our dealers and distributors communicate our brand strengths with more effectiveness.”
Tim will be based in Double Coin’s Monrovia headquarters and will focus on building the Double Coin brand, grow operations and assist with developing new strategies for the company’s commercial products throughout North America. Tim has over twenty-five years of sales and marketing experience in the automotive and commercial tire industry. He comes to Double Coin after a successful time at Alliance Tire Group as their Business Development Western Region and National Account Manager. He was responsible for growing the OTR and TBR business in Alliance’s western region. In 2001, he opened International Tire Warehouse, and grew the company to $3.5M in sales in less than two years, then sold the business in 2005.
