Pilot Flying J opens travel center to open in Lathrop, Calif.

This is Flying J's first facility in California. The full amenity rest stop is expected to add 70 local jobs to the community. It will offer 12 fueling positions with nine high-speed diesel pumps.Customers can receive a gas discount with the myPilot app.

Pilot Flying J announced it will open a Flying J Travel Center in Lathrop, Calif. The travel center features full amenities for area residents and the traveling public, while adding approximately 70 local jobs to the community.

“We’re thrilled to serve the Lathrop community and contribute to the local economy with our new travel center,” said Ken Parent, president of Pilot Flying J. “Both local residents and those traveling through the San Joaquin County area and along Interstate 5 will soon be able enjoy the convenience and amenities of our new Flying J Travel Center.”

The new Flying J Travel Center offers many amenities, including:

·        12 fueling positions for gasoline and nine diesel lanes with high-speed pumps for quicker refueling

·         PJ Fresh, fast casual food offerings, including PJ Fresh Pizza, soup, sandwiches and hot dogs

·         Cinnabon

·         Premium coffee and cappuccino selections 

·         Everyday products for quick shopping needs

The facility at 345 Roth Road is Pilot Flying J’s 21st location in California, and it is expected to contribute $10.6 million annually in state and local tax revenues.

Customers can download the myPilot app to receive a 3¢ gas or auto diesel discount. Customers can also take advantage of free offers and discounts when using the myOffers feature on the myPilot app. Simply download the app, create an account or log in, and start saving.

In addition to the updated mobile app, Pilot Flying J also offers reliable WiFi, making downloading, uploading and streaming faster than ever, CAT scales, and prime parking at participating locations for the convenience and peace of mind for professional drivers.
