Martins Industries relocates to new warehouse

June 11, 2020
The company strategically positioned its product stocks to a warehouse based in Sydney to better serve the Australian tire and wheel market.

Martins Industries relocated its product stocks to a new warehouse based in Sydney and increased its product and sales offering.

Hoping to be able to replicate the success that it has in North America and Europe, Martins Industries moved its stocks to a new warehouse that is strategically positioned to improve delivery time. Moreover, it increased its product offering by 75 percent with MAGNUM+ tire balancing beads, new models of tire inflation safety cages and bead seaters, among others. Martins Industries has also set forth a new freight policy – free freight on all orders in country, excepting Tasmania, Norther Territory, and Western Australia – to entice businesses to make their first order. These new operations have taken effect on June 10.

With expanding vehicle fleets, increasing industrialization, and growing penetration of online sales across the country(1), the Australian tire market is growing at a good, steady pace. What began more than a decade ago has evolved into a complete commitment to establish the brand’s presence in the country.

“With the help of the sales force that has been covering the territory through the years, we have succeeded in getting some market traction to the point where we needed to take the next step in the development of our operations in Australia” said Martin Depelteau, president, Martins Industries.

With this reorganization now complete and the new freight policy kicking off, Martins Industries will be better positioned to serve Australian car dealerships, tire shops, tire distributors/manufacturers, vehicle fleets, and trucking companies for their tire equipment needs.
