Sonic Tools offers in-house laser tool etching

The laser etching services enhance technician's tool control in the workplace.

In addition to Sonic Tools' Foam System to maximize accountability, efficiency, and tool control in the workplace, the company is now offering in-house laser tool etching to further enhance technician's tool control.

The laser etching services are ideal for serialization of tools to mitigate accountability issues if and when multiple technicians are working out of the same toolboxes. Laser etching is also an ideal option for anyone looking to put their personal touch on their tools, like their initials or name, up to six characters. For Penske Automotive, laser etching was the perfect solution. According to Sonic Tools, they chose to serialize each tool, so each technician’s toolbox is different, while keeping standardization top of mind.

There’s a number of ways users can utilize the Sonic Foam System and laser etching. The company added a QR badge on every toolbox. Having their warranty QR badge on a toolbox enables users access to their 24-hour lifetime warranty whenever needed. Users can simply open the camera on their phone, hold it over the QR code, and they will be directed to Sonic Tools' warranty page where they can enter their warranty claim. The company will get the replacement tool with the same identification marks shipped to them within 24 hours.
