Petro-Canada Lubricants, a HollyFrontier business, announced that it has signed a supply agreement to become the only worldwide first-fill supplier of TES 668TM automatic transmission fluid for Allison Transmission, the global manufacturer of medium and heavy duty commercial automatic transmissions.

Using its lubricant technology, Petro-Canada Lubricants meets the requirements of the Allison Transmission TES 668TM specification with the formulation of DuraDrive HD Synthetic 668. DuraDrive HD Synthetic 668 is specified for on-highway vehicles, including vocational applications, and is fully backwards compatible for every Allison transmission that requires an approved TES 295 fluid.

The DuraDrive HD Synthetic 668 factory fill contract will provide Allison Transmission’s manufacturing sites and customers worldwide with access to the durability, performance enhancement, and equipment protection that Petro-Canada Lubricants’ automatic transmission fluid delivers.

“Allison Transmission is a world-renowned producer of automatic transmissions and we are delighted to be recognized as their global fluid supplier of choice,” said Tony Weatherill, president, Petro-Canada Lubricants Inc. “This initiative demonstrates the technical capabilities of our team, who worked closely with Allison Transmission to develop this formulation which sets a new standard for automatic transmission fluids. At Petro-Canada Lubricants, we pride ourselves on our technology and innovation, and the ability to provide high-quality lubricants to global market leaders.”
