Wilhelm Automotive announces partnership with The Hybrid Shop

Wilhelm Automotive has joined forces with The Hybrid Shop (THS) to bring care for hybrid-electric vehicles including green and cost-saving services to owners of hybrid vehicles.

Wilhelm Automotive, a family owned and operated auto repair company, has joined forces with The Hybrid Shop (THS) to bring expert care for hybrid-electric vehicles including green and cost-saving diagnostic, repair, and preventative maintenance services to owners of hybrid vehicles.  All seven of Wilhelm Automotive’s locations will now have certified hybrid repair technicians to service all makes and models of hybrid vehicles.

Wilhelm Automotive has been offering honest, guaranteed auto repair services to Arizonans for 85 years, making them the oldest family owned and operated repair shop in the state.  The move to become hybrid vehicle repair experts further demonstrates Wilhelm’s commitment to meeting all of their customers’ auto repair needs.

A key element of The Hybrid Shop technology is the hybrid vehicle Battery Pack Conditioning.  A less than optimally energized hybrid battery can create a number of performance issues, usually resulting in poor fuel economy, reduced torque and battery replacement costs in the thousands of dollarsWith THS’ innovative Battery Pack Conditioning service, hybrid owners can restore—instead of replace—the vehicle battery pack.  This service has the potential to restore up to 95 percent of the battery pack’s original power and energy, according to The Hybrid Shop.

Wilhelm staff and technicians have participated in training for the new hybrid technology including a comprehensive four-day on site Hybrid Elective Vehicle diagnostics training course.
