Meineke Car Care Centers, a leading automotive aftermarket franchisor in the world, recently announced the appointment of Danny Rivera, a digitally driven executive, as the brand’s new president.
A tech-savvy executive, Rivera brings more than 12 years of experience to the table. He has served as Driven Brands’ chief information officer since 2012 and most recently served as the executive vice president for Meineke since June. Rivera has led major innovation projects for Driven Brands, both at Meineke and Maaco, improving the customer experience and implementing state-of-the-art technology in centers across the United States and Canada.
Prior to joining Driven Brands, Rivera worked at AutoNation, one of the world’s largest car dealership chains. Prior to AutoNation, he worked at some of the largest global companies, including GE, Motorola and the Burger King Corporation, where he spent close to a decade in multiple roles including chief privacy and information security officer.

Commenting on his appointment as president of Meineke, Danny Rivera said: “I am excited to step into this new role. Rivera holds two degrees from Florida International University. He received a Bachelor of Science in computer engineering, graduating cum laude. He also holds a Juris Doctorate.
