CRC Industries, Inc. announces the acquisition of ChemFree Corporation located in Norcross, Ga., a subsidiary of Intelligent Systems Corporation, which is traded on the NYSE MKT under the symbol INS.
CRC Industries is a global leader in the production of specialty chemicals for maintenance, repair and operational professionals and do-it-yourselfers within the automotive, heavy duty truck, marine, electrical, industrial, hardware and aviation markets.
ChemFree Corporation manufactures the SmartWasher® Bio Remediating Parts Washing System, providing an alternative method for cleaning vehicle and maintenance parts without harming humans or the environment. The SmartWasher® system consists of the SmartWasher® parts washer, OzzyJuice® Degreasing Solutions and OzzyMats™ which are microbe impregnated filters. The ChemFree Smartwasher® product line is distributed in more than 40 countries and marketed under multiple patents.
The SmartWasher® system eliminates or dramatically reduces waste streams, as well as the expense of hazardous waste removal and associated liabilities. Combining the ChemFree product line and CRC’s broad specialty chemical platform will create superior performance and enhanced environmental responsibility, as well as new product growth opportunities.
