New look for John Bean aligner cabinets: more storage and protection
Sporting a new look, the new John Bean® Aligner cabinets deliver more internal storage space while, at the same time, taking up less space in the shop. These two sleek cabinets also feature new clamp holders that are more integrated with the cabinet for better support.
“We tapped into feedback from our customers to develop the new John Bean aligner cabinets, incorporating their ideas and requests into the design,” said Adam Brown, product manager for John Bean. “These cabinets offer great protection for a shop’s John Bean wheel aligner.”
The John Bean aligner cabinets come in two sizes. The cabinet for the V2200 has black sides and slightly smaller casters. The cabinet for the V2300, V2400 and V3400 aligners feature chrome sides and drawer accents, a drawer to enclose the printer, and improved braking with larger activation and release pedals.
A key feature of both John Bean aligner cabinets is the clamp storage. The clamps are easier to mount and dismount from the cabinet and are held securely when the cabinet is moved around the shop. In addition, the clamps are mounted closer to the cabinet, increasing the top work surface size and reducing the overall footprint of the cabinet in the shop. The integrated clamp surface provides better mounting for the VIN scanner and allows space for other accessories.
The new John Bean aligner cabinets also feature integrated mounting for the steering wheel holder and brake pedal depressor. There is also an optional mobility base that allows for the beam and cabinet to be moved together as a single piece.
