Carquest stores, including more than 1,200 independently owned and operated locations in North America, are partnering with the American Heart Association’s “Life is Why We Give” campaign for the month of June to help raise funds to fight heart disease. Throughout the month, customers at Carquest stores in the U.S. will be asked to donate $1, $5, or $10 at checkout in support of the campaign.

According to the American Heart Association, heart disease is the leading cause of death among men and women in the U.S. In fact, someone dies from heart disease, stroke or another cardiovascular disease every 43 seconds. Carquest’s many owners across the U.S. are proud to partner with the American Heart Association to help combat a disease that affects so many people in their local communities.   About Carquest Independent Founded in 1974, Carquest Independent is an automotive parts distribution network of over 1,238 independently owned stores in all 50 states as well as Puerto Rico, Canada, the U.S. Virgin Islands, Mexico, the Bahamas, Turks and Caicos, and the British Virgin Islands.
