Coming March 21st – The TST “Big Event”

Feb. 11, 2020

If you’ve been a fan of Motor Age for any length of time, you know the name G. Jerry Truglia.

G. is a noted national trainer in his own right and president of a private training company called ATTS. In his private role, he has been a contracted trainer for municipalities (like the NYPD and other city organizations), states, even the U.S. military.

But he is also an avid supporter of the men and women on the front lines of our business, eager and willing to do all he can to help technicians thrive and survive in a tough business. The key, he believes, is in staying up-to-date with the latest technologies and techniques. As Truglia is fond of saying, “If you don’t educate, you’ll evaporate!”

TST’s hallmark event of the year is the “Big Event”, named because it’s…well, it’s a big event – with nearly 700 attendees last year descending on the Westchester Marriott in Tarrytown, New York last year. It’s also unique to any event you’ve ever attended!

First, everyone is in one big room and we all attend the same three presentations, with breaks in between. On those breaks, you’ll have a chance to interact with a host of vendors and aftermarket representatives; as well as having the opportunity to network with technicians from all over.

Another unique feature is the way you’ll receive your handout materials. No paper – it’s all on a tablet that you get to keep!

Yet another unique experience is the door prizes that are given out throughout the day. TST has a number of committed sponsors that donate a variety of tools and services. Odds are pretty good that you’ll go home with a lot more than you came with.

And while all of these are great reasons for attending, the best reason for attending is the knowledge you’ll gain and the renewed spirit you’ll leave with after being in a room filled with techs, shop owners and educators that are just as committed to success as you are.

See you in Tarrytown!
