How Is Your Cabin Filter Knowledge?

The October episode of “The Trainer” talks about some of the important roles a commonly overlooked service item plays in keeping the vehicle occupants comfortable. The component? The common cabin air filter. Let’s see if you learned anything from watching the video!

Technician A says that cabin air filters protect the occupants from over 200 known contaminants found in a typical car’s passenger compartment. Technician B says that the cabin air filter protects the evaporator core from copper particles emitted by the blower motor when it is “on”.  

Who is correct?
