Air flow amplifiers from ITW Vortec extract exhaust fumes so that technicians can stay warm despite frigid outdoor temperatures.
The company says the air flow amplifiers have no moving parts to wear out or break down, making the components inherently safe and ideal for auto service facilities of all sizes.
The high flow, bladeless blowers take ordinary compressed air and amplify it up to 60-fold, in un-ducted applications (12 – 20-fold amplification in ducted applications). They are easily mounted, ducted and moved, and with adjustable airflow and output they can be tailored to the project at hand.
With no electrical requirements, they can be mounted wherever there is compressed air.
Quiet operation meets OSHA noise requirements.
The family of Vortec Air Flow Amplifiers delivers flow rates from 32 to 2300 SCFM. Aluminum housings are standard, with stainless steel available for aggressive environments. Cincinnati-based Vortec is a division of the Fortune 200 firm Illinois Tool Works Inc. The company has been designing and manufacturing pneumatic Articles that use compressed air to solve cooling, cleaning and conveying problems for more than 50 years.
