WIX Filters, a member of the Affinia Group family of brands, has introduced 197 new parts with 35% will serving light-duty applications and 65% serving heavy-duty applications.
ProTec cabin air filter applications also made up half of the new parts in the domestic and foreign nameplate-passenger car category.

“As we look to the long term, we strive to spearhead innovation and efficiency in our Article offerings and meet demands for our industry’s future, from advancing technology to meeting new emission requirements to developing new testing capabilities.”
WIX is also developing test kits for diesel fuel conditioning and cleaning that will be released in August, 2013. In addition, WIX is examining modifications for natural gas and propane filters to meet off-road diesel certified emission reduction requirements for 2017-2018.
WIX says it is on track to launch 400 new Articles by the end of 2013.
