Robert Bosch LLC has added 30 part numbers to its braking, fuel injection, fuel pump module and filtration lines.

Robert Bosch LLC has added 30 part numbers to its braking, fuel injection, fuel pump module and filtration lines.

The additions include:

* QuietCast and Blue Disc Brake Pads for late-model Asian vehicles;

* fuel pump modules and injectors for late-model Asian, domestic and European vehicles; and

* urea filter for the Bosch 2.2 DeNox system.

 Nine new brake pad sets have been added to the Bosch QuietCast and Blue Disc Article lines. The new additions expand Bosch Article coverage for late-model Asian vehicles such as Hyundai, Nissan and Honda Civic, and cover 0.2 million units in operation. Six of the nine new part numbers introduced include hardware kits.

The company has introduced a new urea filter for the Bosch 2.2 Denox System. It is designed for Class 4 – 8 vehicles. The company says an important feature of this filter is the high capacity media that traps and holds contaminants throughout the manufacturers’ recommended change intervals.

Other features include an O-ring that provides a tight seal to prevent leaks, and an exclusive Bosch equalizing element that buffers the pressure within the pump by expanding and contracting to eliminate cracking on internal components. The package comes with an extraction tool to simplify filter removal.

Eleven new fuel injectors provide coverage for an additional 5.7 million vehicles that primarily include late-model Asian, domestic and European makes, according to Bosch. These injectors will fit 2007-2008 Ford Escape, 2005-2011 Nissan Xterra, 2004-2010 Infiniti QX56, 2013 Mercedes-Benz SL65 AMG and more.

Nine new fuel pump modules have been added. The company says the fuel pump module assemblies are designed to fit late-model domestic vehicles, including 2008 Chevrolet Express/GMC Savana full-size van, 2009 Chevrolet Silverado 1500, 2008-2012GMC Yukon XL 2500 and more.

“These part number additions to our various Article lines give automotive service technicians ready access to service parts for the many new vehicles that enter the market and then show up at their shops for repair,” says Timo Reif, vice president, Article marketing, Automotive Aftermarket North America.
