Federal-Mogul Corp. has once again expanded the MOOG steering and suspension Article line. Now available for foreign nameplate and domestic vehicles are lines of new control arms, tie rods, ball joints and other premium-quality replacement components.
Included among the new parts are premium front lower ball joints for 2004-2009 Nissan Quest minivans (p/n K500129, right and left) and BMW X3 models (p/n K500079, left); a front sway bar link kit for 2009-2011 Honda Fit and 2010-2011 Honda Insight models (p/n K750381, right and left); and front lower control arms with ball joints for Chevrolet Blazer and S10, GMC Jimmy and Sonoma, and Isuzu Hombre vehicles ranging from the 1995 through 2005 model years (p/n K620251, right; p/n K620252, left).
The new MOOG ball joints feature the brand’s trademark all-metal “gusher” bearing, which allows grease to penetrate all load-bearing surfaces for longer life. Ball joints include full-ball studs that provide 360 degrees of smooth, even rotational movement for more responsive steering, notes Federal-Mogul. Each ball joint also is equipped with a grease fitting and premium MOOG boot for serviceability and superior durability.
