The Automotive Aftermarket Products Expo (AAPEX) will address how to find and keep good employees in a free recruiting and retaining conference. AAPEX is scheduled for Nov. 4-6, in Las Vegas.

The new recruiting and retaining conference is part of AAPEX educational sessions, called AAPEXedu, and will take place Nov. 3.

The lineup includes case studies of successful outreach and recruiting programs, a session entitled, “Attracting, Engaging and Retaining High Talent,” by Dr. Bob Nelson, Nelson Motivation, and a panel discussion called “Developing Millennial Leaders in the Auto Care Industry,” with moderator Mike Mohler, vice president, National Pronto Association. Panelists will include Young Auto Care Network Group (YANG) members.

In addition to the recruiting and retaining conference, the AAPEXedu will offer several sessions throughout AAPEX on finding and keeping good employees, including:

* How to be a Culturally-Ready and Culturally-Friendly Employer;

* Performance Excellence: The Employee Factor;

* Motivating the Millennials: Understanding, Attracting, Motivating and Keeping the Youngest Generation Entering the Workplace; and

* Beyond the Paycheck: Creating a Culture of Recognition in Your Workplace.”
