Opus IVS unveils IVS Mobile: An advanced auto diagnostic app in partnership with Diagnostic Network

Oct. 30, 2023
The mobile app unites professional diagnostics with expert support for technicians.

Opus IVS has introduced IVS Mobile, a mobile app designed to revolutionize the automotive diagnostic industry. IVS Mobile offers technicians an unprecedented diagnostic solution by combining professional diagnostics with the capability to activate a multi-OEM J2534 VCI (vehicle communication interface) within the app. This VCI can be used with various OE dealership diagnostic applications like Toyota Techstream, GM Techline Connect, Chrysler WiTech, Ford FDRS, VW Odis, Subaru SSM3/4, and more.

Technicians who subscribe to IVS Mobile gain access not only to this innovative diagnostic tool but also receive a premium subscription to Diagnostic Network, valued at $180 per year. This subscription includes access to AiDN, Diagnostic Network's AI repair assistant, enabling technicians to engage in interactive chats to navigate complex repair procedures using data from diagnostic sessions held in the app. If needed, technicians can escalate inquiries to work directly with an OEM Brand-specific Dealer Master Technician via the IVS 360 service, ensuring expert guidance and support.

Brian Herron, CEO at Opus IVS, stated, "We are excited to introduce IVS Mobile, a product that is set to redefine the landscape of automotive diagnostics. With IVS Mobile, we bring together an all-module scan tool powered by a J2534 interface through a mobile OS that is backed by AI repair guidance, IVS 360 Brand-specific Master Techs, and integrated with Diagnostic Network, allowing professionals to seek assistance through various channels."

The launch of IVS Mobile represents a significant step in Opus IVS's commitment to delivering innovative solutions that enhance efficiency, accuracy, and expertise in the automotive repair industry.
