The Chinese autoparc is expected grow to nearly 225 million vehicles within the next 10 years, according to EY. The country’s developing independent aftermarket needs to be prepared to meet the challenge of keeping the growing vehicle population on the road.
AASA, its China Aftermarket Forum (CAF) and event partners will address this need at the annual Automotive Aftermarket Summit during Automechanika Shanghai 2013, focused on “Employee Training & Service Innovation.”
The Automotive Aftermarket Summit is set for Thursday, Dec. 12 at Automechanika Shanghai 2013. The event will be held from 1 to 5 p.m. at the Jumeirah Himalayas Hotel Shanghai, Shanghai, China. The program is free and open to manufacturers, distributors and media representatives.
Representatives of AASA will discuss “Personnel Development of Automotive Industry Aftermarket” at the Summit. Other presentations and speakers include:
- “Exploring the Online to Offline Service Model” – Hongjiang Yu, chairman of HKS Auto Service Co Ltd
- “Transformation and Upgrading of Auto Parts Distribution Companies” – Xiwen Zhang, general manager of Shanghai Longfeng Automobile Parts Co Ltd

- “Development of Auto Parts Database System - Current Situation” – Jie Chen, general manager of Shanghai Partso IT Co Ltd
