In view of the current political situation in the Ukraine, the première of Automechanika Kiev, which was scheduled to have been held at KyivExpoPlaza Kiev from May 21 to 23, 2014, has been postponed. The fair will now be held in Kiev in June 2015.
Michael Johannes, Automechanika Brand Manager, explains: “Together with our partner, Independent Expo Automotive BV, we have analyzed the current situation in Ukraine and decided against holding the fair under these circumstances in May. We have taken this step in the interests of our customers.”
Berco Stukje, Managing Director, Independent Expo Automotive BV, adds: "We truly regret to have Automechanika Kiev postponed. Both Messe Frankfurt and Independent Expo put the interest of their exhibitors first. Due to the present situation in Ukraine we consider that postponing the event now serves the interest of our customers best.”
The co-organizer of the fair is Independent Expo Ukraine, partner of Independent Expo Automotive BV the Netherlands, the official license partner of Automechanika Kiev.
