BOLT ON TECHNOLOGY, a leading supplier of technology solutions for the automotive aftermarket, ratchets up the excitement at AAPEX 2021 where it will conduct live demonstrations of its popular digital vehicle inspections and other shop operation tools at “Joe’s Garage,” introduce a year-long, money-saving show special for shops processing payments with BOLT ON Pay, and, partnering with SiriusXM®, raffle off a cool musical prize.

“With the return to a live AAPEX event, we’re looking forward to once again connecting with customers and prospects face-to-face, hearing about their new challenges, opportunities and goals post-pandemic, and offering tips and demonstrations highlighting how we can help them,” said BOLT ON CEO Mike Risich. “It is mutually beneficial when we can reacquaint ourselves with the people who are driving change and addressing new challenges on the ground.”

Payments made easy

BOLT ON Pay kicks into high-gear at AAPEX, and BOLT ON has a great deal for show-goers: any attendee who signs up for BOLT ON Pay will have their integration fee for Text To Pay with 360 Payments waived for the first year.

One of BOLT ON TECHNOLOGY’s most popular offerings, BOLT ON Pay includes text to pay, e-mail to pay, in-store transactions and even financing options which sync with the point-of-sale system. Powered by 360 Payments, a leading industry payment processor, BOLT ON Pay helps shops get paid faster via secure transactions, and which vehicle owners love for its convenience.

“We’re excited to be partnered with 360 Payments to provide credit card payment convenience and robust financing options to our shops and their customers, and to offer this show special during AAPEX. We believe once shops try it, they’ll be hooked,” said Risich.

 Getting on the fast track

BOLT ON will once again demonstrate the ability of Digital Vehicle Inspections (DVIs) to bring consistency and efficiency to the repair shop, increase AROs, and generate more trust and loyalty among vehicle owners. Conducted by John “J.B.” Burkhauser, BOLT ON’s Director of Education and an A-Level and ASE-certified Master Tech, the Joe’s Garage session will take place each day of the show right in the mock-up repair Bay #7, with a vehicle on the lift and a customer service counter so that attendees can see how BOLT ON’s award-winning software services can positively impact both the front office and back of the shop experience. The sessions will also cover such BOLT ON enhancements as Next Appointment Scheduling, Payment Processing, and Customer Reviews.

AAPEX becomes “Wrench Nation”

Booth #R8017 will become home base to “Wrench Nation,” the popular radio show/podcast hosted by Frank Leutz, longtime shop owner, technician, and broadcaster. Leutz will broadcast live interviews with industry insiders and offer pointers to booth visitors seeking to up their revenue and customer service games. The Chandler, Ariz.-based Leutz, who also serves on the National ASA Mechanical Operations Committee, will greet visitors from his studio-encampment throughout the show.

“Frank Leutz is an oversized personality and will stand out in the oversized event that is AAPEX, and will bring real value to booth visitors, some of whom might even wind up on ‘Wrench Nation,’” said Risich.

Autographed guitar? Are you Sirius?

Visitors to Booth #A31001 will also have the chance to enter a raffle from BOLT ON and partner SiriusXM® to win a guitar autographed by a rock music legend. The contest is intended to shine a light on the continuing SiriusXM Service Lane for Shops Program, a free program for shop owners designed to complement their customer service and loyalty programs.  Eligible drivers who bring in their factory-equipped vehicles for auto service or repair can take advantage of a free SiriusXM three-month trial subscription with over 150 channels of commercial-free music, plus sports, news, talk and entertainment – in the car, on the app and online. Interested shop owners can visit https://boltontechnology.com/siriusxm for more information or to enroll in the program. The contest winner will be drawn at the end of Day 4 of the expo.
