Chrysler is recalling certain 2019-2020 Ram 2500 and Ram 3500 vehicles, Ram 3500 Cab Chassis, 4500 Cab Chassis, 5500 Cab Chassis with a gross vehicle weight rating of fewer than 10,000 lbs. On these vehicles, the windshield wiper arms could loosen. This may cause dangerous driving conditions if the wipers function improperly and reduce the driver's visibility in certain weather. The potential number of vehicles affected is 171,789.
To remedy this, dealers will tighten wiper nuts free of charge. Letters will be sent out notifying vehicle owners of this recall on March 18, 2022.
