2020 was a remarkable year for six auto repair shops, singling them out from nearly 200,000 auto repair shops in the U.S. and Canada. The year was notable for everyone around the world due to the pandemic, but these shops implemented strategic business practices that when combined led to an average 30.15 percent increase in Sales Per Day over 2019 that translates to an average $756.50 increase in Sales Per Day.
During a challenging year for most businesses, these shops went against the grain and increased their 2020 annual revenue over 2019 by more than $1 million. These results earned the shops the 2020 Shop4D Top Performing Shop Award for implementing technology systems and business practices that improved shop efficiencies, increased customer loyalty and improved employee satisfaction. One shop received two awards adding the Shop4D Best Customer Service Award to their honors.
Lauded for providing customer service that earned the shop more than 200 5-star online reviews in the past year alone, Supreme Muffler & Brake in Price, Utah, was presented with the Shop4D Best Customer Service Award.
Joining Supreme in earning the Shop4D Top Performing Shop Award are:
- D’s Auto & Truck Repair, Holland, Mich.
- Herold Family Automotive & Tire, Medina, Ohio
- Myers Automotive, Wichita, Kan.
- Thrifty Auto Repair, Evansville, Ind.
“Our shop was able to be successful, even during such a challenging year, because of our team of committed and accountable staff,” said Supreme owner Joe Piccolo. “Switching to the Shop4D business management platform, we gained an easy to use and integrate system that proactively manages repairs, customers, marketing, profits and employees. These tools motivated and enabled our team to exceed the goals we established within Shop4D.”
The Shop4D Awards recognize exceptional auto shops, selecting only those that have outstanding business practices, top notch customer service, and provide honest and ethical service to their community. Awards are given based on customer reviews and several business growth metrics. In addition to the metrics mentioned, shops were also evaluated on increases in repair orders (ROs) and hours billed per RO.
