Recently, Tesla responded to requests for more scan tool features for earlier vehicles in ToolBox 3.

Tesla has announced to NASTF that they are making all service information free to subscribers.

In a recent meeting, Tesla responded to requests for more scan tool features for earlier vehicles in ToolBox 3 by saying that this is their primary focus and that they welcome input from NASTF members on features they would like to see or problems they encounter, according to NASTF.

NASTF recommends auto service professionals file a SIR so it can share the vehicle information and technicians' contact information with the Tesla engineering team. Original ToolBox 2 functionality is being added to ToolBox 3 on a regular basis, NASTF said.

NASTF and Tesla are also continuing to discuss participating in SDRM to facilitate security access components.
