Jeep Renegade Vehicles Need PCM Reprogram

    This bulletin applies to 2015-2018 Jeep Renegade vehicles equipped with a 1.4L or 2.0L engine.  A certain number of these vehicles may inadvertently suspend some required OBD monitors when the P1D7F fault code is set.

    This bulletin applies to 2015-2018 Jeep Renegade vehicles equipped with a 1.4L or 2.0L engine.  A certain number of these vehicles may inadvertently suspend some required OBD monitors when the P1D7F fault code is set. 

    These items are MIL relevant. 

    Inspect the software level of the PCM and if necessary, reprogram the PCM. The following special tools are required to perform this repair:

    • NPN wiTECH micro pod II

    • NPN Laptop computer

    • NPN wiTECH software
