Nov. 3, 2021
Added ADAS software update supports all camera, radar and surround-view systems for all vehicles Bosch covers, including the most popular makes and models in the aftermarket.

Bosch, a leading global supplier of technology and services, announced the 4.15 and 4.16 software updates for the ADS 325 (3925), ADS 525X (3945), 625 (3970) and 625X (3975). The new update covers 2022 vehicles from domestic and foreign brands like GMC, Nissan and Hyundai and all 2021 Mercedes models. Bosch added thousands of new tests and system applications, including a substantial amount of 2022 ADAS coverage for newer makes and models, to help technicians service the latest technology on a wide variety of vehicles. Once complete, technicians can easily customize reports and claims for each customer’s needs.

The latest ADS software version adds the following functionality and optimizations:

Comprehensive ADAS coverage: The new updates provide industry-leading 2022 ADAS coverage available in aftermarket scan tools, covering a wide range of Domestic and Foreign vehicles. This includes all feature coverage for many 2022 GM vehicles, 2022 Honda/Acura vehicles, 2022 Volkswagen Atlas and Tiguan, 2022 Audi Q5 and Q8, 2022 Alfa Romeo Giulia and Stelvio, and 2021 Ford Bronco. All 2022 Toyota vehicles are also covered, in addition to 2016-18 Toyota Mirai.

More coverage: Technicians are now able to support more domestic and foreign vehicles by introducing 2022 model year coverage across domestic and foreign brands like Chevrolet, Honda, Buick, Subaru and Acura. The updates also include more content for all 2021 Mercedes models and additional ECU applications for 2021 Fords.

Thousands of new tests and system applications: 839 special tests and 18,217 new system applications are included in the latest updates. For example, fuel injector correction factors for Ford/Lincoln vehicles, fine adjustment of DS camera for Nissan vehicles, and driver seatbelt buckle sensor-switch for Chrysler/Jeep/Ram vehicles.

New pre/post scan reporting capabilities: Technicians can now capture critical pre- and post-scan report information, such as VIN, odometer, tech ID and repair order number, for easier reporting and claims processing. In addition, ADS users add up to four custom fields to personalize reports for the customer’s needs. Finally, now technicians can easily locate specific saved scan reports by test names.

Bosch ADS users with a current subscription can install the updates after automatically receiving the download. For more information on the new Bosch ADS series, software update and full release notes, visit: https://www.boschdiagnostics.com/diagnostic-systems.
