Application

Launch Tech USA's X-431 Torque 5 diagnostic scan tool has the ability to perform full system health reports and identify all the control modules on a vehicle. Additional features include monitoring live data PIDS, retrieving DTCs, bidirectional functionality, and access to additional applications on the tablet. The Torque 5 features extensive coverage of European, Asian, and domestic vehicles.

Features and benefits

Due to the tri-functionality of the Launch X-431 Torque 5, the product combines two diagnostic functions — a multimeter and an oscilloscope. This allows technicians to save money by not having to acquire separate oscilloscope and multimeter tools. Additionally, the Torque 5 is a professional-level diagnostic scan tool that features ample resources such as CodeAssist, the option to add X431FIX,  and modules for diagnostic solutions such as ADAS, battery testing, IMMO diagnostics, and more.

Origin

The Launch Product Team conceptualized a product that featured three of the most conclusive repair technologies (OBD diagnostics, multimeter, and oscilloscope) that technicians and shops use to deduce drivability and electrical faults. Many technicians and shops have to rely on a multitude of tool resources to repair vehicles that are extremely complex in terms of sensors, technology, and gadgetry. The Torque 5 is a scan tool that aims to deliver all of the diagnostic information for the technician in one tool.

Manufacturing/engineering specifications

The Torque 5 is manufactured by Launch China. It weighs approximately 3 lbs.
