Application

This Oasis Scientific Vividia CX-6010i Borescope helps technicians take well-lit pictures and videos of hard-to-reach places. It is great for viewing engines, cylinders, and other areas with small entry points. It is also able to create viewing angles that wouldn’t normally be possible without joystick articulation.

Origin

This product was created in reaction to the ever-growing needs of the borescope industry. Individually acclaimed features such as a locking mechanism, advanced articulation, and device compatibility all come together to create this product.

Features and benefits

  • Compatible with iPhone, iPad, and Android, which enables seamless connectivity with devices users already have.
  • The 360-degree joystick articulation feature allows for quick positioning. While other scopes can be tedious to angle, the CX series saves mechanics time and effort with advanced articulation control.
  • A trigger-based locking feature permits extended monitoring once the probe is properly positioned. This can free up a hand that would normally be manually controlling articulation.

Manufacturing/engineering specifications

This tool was made in China in collaboration with Oasis Scientific's manufacturers. It features a 3.3' long probe. The probe tube is composed of a wear-resistant metal mesh, while the handle is made of a combination of metal and heavy duty plastic for industrial durability. The device weighs .66 lbs.
