    Origin

We were approached over seven years ago by a large logistics company that needed a quick and easy-to-use tool for their front-line technicians. It wanted a tool that could be used to pull codes and perform regens prior to bringing out a full scan tool, and thus, the HD Code II. The HD Code III is the next evolution of our top-selling tool.

    Features and benefits

    • Perfect triage tool for quick scanning of the engine, brakes, and transmission on light to heavy duty commercial vehicles and off-highway equipment.

    • Use it before bringing out a full scan tool or laptop, which not only cost more but are usually harder to operate and take longer to boot up. By the time a laptop boots up, users of the HD Code III can already be diagnosing and performing regens on a truck.

    • The HD Code III is highly portable with its handheld touchscreen platform and wireless Bluetooth VCI.

    • The HD Code III covers close to 85 percent of the capabilities needed to diagnose and repair commercial vehicles at a fraction of the price of a full-fledged scan tool.

    Manufacturing/engineering specifications

    • Handheld 5” touchscreen Android platform

    • 2GB RAM, 32GB Storage

    • Bluetooth VCI

    • 6&9 PIN Cable

    • CAT 9 Cable

    • The hardware is made in China, with R&D and software development in the US.
