The CTA Tools Torque Limit Ratchet Wrench Set is perfect for oil service on vehicles with cartridge-style filters and plastic or aluminum housings. Commonly used on European and late-model import vehicles requiring specific torque values on oil filter caps or drain plugs. 

Origin

Many techs overtighten plastic oil filter caps or fail to hit the proper torque, leading to stripped threads, broken housings, or leaks. This set was created to offer a dedicated, preset torque solution, simplifying oil service and protecting critical components.

The set weighs 4 lbs, and each wrench is around 11.5" long. Color-coded for fast recognition, with a chrome finish and ergonomic soft-grip handles. Packaged in a precision-cut EVA foam tray.
