How do handheld pneumatic vacuums compare to shop vacs?

Sept. 27, 2012
Pneumatic handheld vacuums run off compressed shop air.

Q: I have recently seen handheld pneumatic vacuums; how do those compare to a shop vac?

A: The pneumatic handheld vacuums run off compressed air which allows for no electric motors to burn out, no wires, and no moving parts. These units can provide twice the suction of a standard shop vac. So for applications where it would be better to vacuum debris versus blowing it; try a pneumatic handheld vacuum. It is lightweight and convenient to use while affording the benefits of compressed air.
