Q: How can I determine the right fuel additive to use for my truck?

A: The ideal everyday additive will be a balanced product containing properties that address the areas of cetane number, lubricity, injector cleaners, water dispersion, thermal stability and inhibition of oxidation. An example of a fully formulated product is the Hot Shot’s Secret Everyday Diesel Treatment (EDT). EDT addresses each of the previously listed areas of concern to ensure the fuel is of high quality at all times. Specialized products should only be used to initially treat a particular issue .
