Ford leads in most recalls issued during first half of 2023

So far, Ford has issued 31 recalls this year, affecting 4,143,013 of its vehicles.

Ford leads in most recalls in first half of 2023

Ford leads all automakers in recalls for the first half of 2023, reports Kelley Blue Book. 

So far this year Ford has issued 31 recalls, affecting 4,143,013 of its vehicles, according to data from National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA).

Following behind Ford is Chrysler with 26 recalls and BMW with 20 recalls so far. 

Kelley Blue Book also noted that Ford had more recalls than any other automaker in 2022, with a total of 67 recalls.
