Shell Lubricants will introduce Shell Spirax S6 GXME 75W-80, a fuel-efficient and long-life transmission and gearbox oil approved to meet the requirement for Volvo transmission specification 97307 for use in Volvo I-Shift and Mack mDrive transmissions. It is specifically formulated with synthetic base oils and additive technology for improved lubrication and lower operating temperatures over longer oil-drain intervals. Shell Spirax S6 GXME 75W-80 can help protect against wear, pitting, bearing failure and corrosion for reduced maintenance and longer equipment life.

Shell Spirax S6 GXME 75W-80 has special frictional properties and high fluidity that help reduce power loss and offer higher mechanical efficiency. The benefits of Shell Spirax S6 GXME 75W-80 have been demonstrated through extensive laboratory tests and over 12 million miles of field trials. It is available in viscosity grade SAE 75W-80. Shell Spirax S6 GXME 75W-80 carries component and vehicle manufacturer approvals for MAN 341 Type E4 and Volvo 97307and also may be used where API GL-4, MT-1, SAE 75W-80 lubricant is required.
