Now in their 80th year, the Lang family has been making tools in Racine, Wisconsin since 1932 and understands professional hand tools and how their customers use them.
Since Daniel M. Lang supplied his first customers with thickness gauges and honing stones, A&E has supplied quality automotive hand tools to leading brands as well as manufacturing their own brands. A&E developed and patented the first Ratcheting Box Wrench, now a standard in every technician's toolbox. Over the years, A&E introduced many brands now well established, such as Kastar, Star and Hi-tech, known for quality, innovation and value.
In celebration of their 80th year, A&E Hand Tools has renewed their commitment to their customers, by introducing the LANG brand, built on the long tradition of quality and innovation that their customers have come to expect. "We're so proud of our past and confident in our future, that we're putting our family name on the line," said John Lang, President, Chairman and CEO of A&E Incorporated. "We have manufactured professional tools for four generations. It's not just a tag line, it's a way of life."
A&E will continue the long tradition of providing professional technicians only the highest quality and most innovative tools.
"We don't simply make new tools, we require that they do more and function better… always the best tool for the job. We have 80 years to live up to, to ensure that future Lang generations can continue to serve our customers and community."
