MACS to hold A/C training Oct. 18 and 19

“An intense weekend of mobile A/C technical training delivered at a rapid pace,” that is what Paul DeGuiseppi, MACS manager of service training promises attendees will experience at the Mobile Air Conditioning Society (MACS) mobile A/C technical training blitz weekend, Friday, Oct. 18 and Saturday, Oct. 19 at MACS training center in Lansdale, Pa.

On Friday, Oct. 18 beginning at 1pm EDT, MACS will present an updated Section 609 certification class which will include R-1234yf information. To ensure correct  recovery procedures are followed there will be a hands-on recovery/recycling/recharge machine demonstration.

Saturday, Oct. 19 beginning at 8 am EDT, MACS will deliver four separate quick-hit classes to include:

  • Compressor replacement procedures to avoid comebacks,
  • A/C system temperature testing as a diagnostic aid, 
  • R-1234yf – What’s going on? 
  • Working On hybrid vehicle HVAC systems

The cost to attend is:

Friday-Section 609 day only: MACS Members $35/Non-members $55; Saturday only: MACS Members $175/ Non-members $295.

Friday and Saturday: MACS Members $210/ Non-members $330.
